BikePGH’s Women and Biking Program is inclusive towards Femme / Womxn / Gender Non-Conforming / Non-binary people of all ages and backgrounds. The Women & Biking Program works to encourage this identified group of people to incorporate bicycling into their lives and increase their representation. By opening the discussion about our lived experiences and challenges, we can assess how to better provide support and resources to ride bikes in Pittsburgh.
The 5th Annual Pittsburgh Women & Biking Forum will take place on Saturday, April 7th! Workshops will feature subjects such as:
Diagnosing problems with your bike
Intro to Camping by Bike
Intro to Bike Racing: Intro to Road, Cyclocross, Mountain, Triathlon & more
Make snacks for bike adventures + cycling nutrition
Activate your voice: writing your cycling story
Event perks include:
Morning yoga *new this year!*
Celebratory bike ride
In addition to the Forum, we will be offering a womxn-only City Cycling class the following day, Sunday April 8th. City Cycling classes aim to build skills and confidence on the bike for safer, and more confident riding.
